Many “purist” Hellsing fans may not like this series but for the rest of us it is a welcome change of pace. I mean literally, the pace at which this show proceeds is great. Hellsing Ultimate is very to-the-point.
For those of you unfamiliar with the story look it up on wikipedia or see the details page. Unlike reviewers who do not seem to read the guidelines I understand what “Don’t include story summaries, users already have the synopsis written for them” means.
ANYWAY….
The Good:
The fights that take place in Hellsing Ultimate are some of the best I have ever seen. This, combined with it’s wonderful animation quality, make the show very enjoyable to watch.

Another thing I really like about Hellsing Ultimate is, because of the fast pace of the series, you don’t have to wait forever for Seras Victoria to stop being lame. In the original Hellsing she failed at life for a long time before she became genuinely useful.
The Bad:
Every once in a while there is a character or two I don’t like but that is ok because they almost always end up dying in some horrific way.

Conclusion:
Hellsing Ultimate is awesome for anybody who enjoys intense fighting scenes and action.
