What is justice?
If you had power, what would you do?

Light Yagami, a genius university student, is faced by these questions as he stumbles upon the death note. A notebook of the Gods of Death, with this he is given the power to manipulate people’s deaths. Living in a world full of crime and sin, what will he do with this power?
Death Note is an anime filled with suspense and logic/thought, peer into the mind and life of a man that is willing destroy his future for the benefit of mankind. The story centers around the meaning of justice, Light takes on the name of “Kira” (meaning “killer”) and sets of to rid the world of evil by murdering the criminals that have unbalanced the world’s peace, there are people that object to his thinking and strive to capture/destroy “Kira”. It is a classic good versus evil story in ways, and it is very entertaining to watch the two sides engage each other in a battle of wits.

Death Note has a great amount of thought. This anime makes one question their own feelings of “justice”. As I watched this anime, I was pulled into the question of the true of justice…what is it? Does justice justify death? Could destruction bring forth peace? Death Note is a very interesting anime as it makes an impact on some people in the way that they think, and proven by Death Note, “justice” is in itself very delicate.
As a great fan of logical thinking, I find this anime great, lovers of suspense will also love this anime as every move each person makes in this anime may become either a fatal move, or a rewarding dare.
