Amesome. The one word to describe this anime. A favorite one for a very long time, very hard to beat this one. A very interesting and heart warming story, that you will abousolutly fall in love with. The charaters will defenitely make you wish they were real. Its a very funny and fun anime. You start to see the begings of a relationship but it is unfourtally cut short because it is an anime, but it has some very interesting stories about the charaters some will make you laugh sooo hard others will make you ball your eyes out, its one of those animes that will touch your heart. I highly recomend to anyone boys, girls, no matter what animes you like you will LOVE fruits basket, i promise you.(:
 Fruits basket (or “Furuba” as it’s known to fans >me<)  is an anime based on the manga made by Natsuki Takaya the maker of the manga tsubasa O motsu Mono(Those with wings) and Geneimusou. Be ready to watch an anime with drama, comedy, and a bit of romance.
The inability to know when to take itself seriously and when to be funny has been the bane of many anime. Luckily for its viewers, Fruits Basket can make you laugh and cry in the same episode while offering some highly intriguing characters and memorable character relationships. Sadly, though, all Fruits Basket does is give us a mere glimpse of characters that deserve far more screen time. It’s like viewing the Constitution in Washington D.C.; you get a satisfying peek at something amazing only to be told to move along far too soon.
Fruits Basket without its character interactions it pratically would be like Coke without its fizz. Whenever two characters are on the screen at once you know something good is coming. To name just a few isn’t doing Fruits Basket justice. From Yuki and Kyou’s rivalry, to Shigure’s torturing of his editor, to Hiro (Dr. House in a 6th grader’s body) and his kind and caring younger cousin Kisa, you will always be entertained both by laughter and intrigue.
Many comedic moments in Fruits Basket were banal, often due to rehashing an already not funny joke, such as Tohru freaking out when she accidentally causes a member of the Zodiac to transform. Thankfully, just as often as it isn’t funny, Fruits Basket will make you crack a smile if not laugh hysterically. Staying true to its nature as a romantic drama, Fruits Basket has its share of serious heartfelt moments, some of which are quite profound. Anyone who’s ever been burned in a relationship or suffers from low self esteem can learn something from watching Fruits Basket. How often is that true of an anime that’s also incredibly fun to watch.
The turn offs for this anime might be that it was made in 2001 and the art might not as appealing as some of the “new” aniem that are out but Furuba’s story is unforgettable and will make you want to watch it again and again and maybe one more time XD
Another thing that might be dissapointing is that the 26 episode fruits basket series only covers volume 1-8 which might leave some questions with no answers so if you like fruits basket and want to know more there are 23 volumes of fruits basket waiting to be read.

Well, the story is mainly about a 15 year old high school student named Ichigo Kurosaki. (Ichigo means strawberry by the way) Because of his very unatural hair color, which is orange (his natural hair color), Ichigo get into fights alot. Unlike many humans, Ichigo could see ghosts as long as he could remember.


After getting home and going to his room, someone wearing a black kimono and had a sword attached to the side of the kimono jumped in through his open window mumbling that something wasn’t there. Ichigo was surprised and kicked her. The girl was surprised that Ighifo was able to see her at all. After that, she explained to Ichigo that she was a Shinigami (Soul Reaper) from the ‘Soul Society’ where spirits go for their after life and to be reborn. Ichigo couldn’t believe her while she explained that Sould Reapers would send souls to the Soul Society with their ‘zanpacto’ (sword). She then tells Ichigo that there was a hollow around the area, and that hollows where soul that turned evil and turned into monsters with white masks and a hole in their chest, where the heart was at. She said that Sould Reapers had to get rid of hollows to protect the souls that were living in his hometown, Karakura Town.
Then, there was a scream from downstairs. It came from one of Ichigo’s sisters. Rukia ran out the door, and she stopped in her tracks because of the strong spiritual pressure. After trying to stop the hollow outside, Rukia gets severely injured while trying to protect Ichigo. Ichigo tells her that he wants to protect his family, so them the Sould Reaper tells him her name was Rukia Kuchiki. She then tells him that she can transfer some of her powers to him, but when this happened, Ichigo absorbed almost ALL her powers unintentionally. With the Soul Reaper powers, Ichigo defeats the hollow.
The next day when Ichigo went to school, Rukia shows up as the new tranfer student and takes him outside of class ot tell him that she didn’t have enough strength to go back to the Soul Society. She then tells him that he will have to take her duties as a Soul Reaper and protect the sould in Karakura Town.
Ok, so lots of adventures happen, and Ichigo had to go to the Sould Society to save someone, and then he trains with some stange guy he calls “Mr. Hat-and-clogs”. Some people with powers that go to his school come and help him ,and they all become friends. Uryuu uses a spirtual bow and arrows, Chad has an arm that has a lot of strength, and Orihime joins because she basically has fairies as her power, and they can heal and do simple attacks.
And they have a lot of adventures together and go up against very powerful Soul Reapers in the Soul Society.
(I would say more, but I’ll do some MAJOR spoilage if I do.)
Overall, if you LOVE action and adventure, you’ll LOVE the anime. It’s actually REALLY Badass, and has a great story line. Everything is AWESOME and packed full of adventure, but that comes later. The first few episodes are just plain funny. So I say, you gotta need some BLEACH, cause it’s just plain coolness.

Pandora Heart's

Okay, So with the new episode up and not too many comments about how great Pandora hearts is, I’m beginning to think that this anime is the most over-looked of this year! With each new episode this anime continues to get better and better, plot line thickens and questions are raised. Really who wouldn’t want to give it a try?


So, I decided to try reviewing this once more, partly because I want people to try and enjoy this anime as much as I do and the other part because I believe I am slightly obsessed. Just slightly. 
Pandora Hearts has a wonderful Alice in wonderland feel to it, and that isn’t just because the main characters name happens to be Alice. Pandora Hearts borrows the concepts of Alice in wonderland beautifully, in every episode you will be able to see the close connection it has to the old children’s classic. The characters themselves take on some traits of the Alice in wonderland Characters themselves, creating a lovely and enthralling combination of Drama and just plain wacky. 
Regardless of this borrowing from Alice in wonderland, Pandora Hearts is all its own. It follows the story of Oz, a 15 year old boy but yet the plot line revolves around Alice, an adorably lovable character that is just great to watch. It offers watches a compelling and if nothing, slightly complex story line, that is all its own.
With the line up of Characters, that are both funny, serious, or just plain wacky, their interaction with each other is a highlight to watch. Fighting, bonding, insulting, in this anime shows just how great a friend they are. Every new episode shows a new side to characters that you wouldn’t have seen in the last.

By far the most entertaining Character is Alice. With her cocky and confident personality, she is just damn adorable and fun to watch. Quick to anger she is prone to violence and isn’t afraid to kick out at someone that pisses her off. For instance kicking Oz when he called her, “Sexual Harassment girl.”
Just because I believe Alice is the most entertaining character doesn’t mean she is to others, all the characters interaction with each other and by themselves is a thrilling and entertaining watch. There is NEVER a dull moment in this anime. Something is always going on, wether its Alice in the corner eating Roses or a fight between supernatural beings with massive Scythes, you will never be disappointed in an episode. 
This anime is, however, turning out to be a well crafted mystery series with every new episode raising new questions that need answers. It leaves you hanging and waiting for more, more, more!
Set in the times before cars were even thought of, Pandora hearts has a dark, twisted Alice in wonderland feel balanced out with light funny bits, that show a lighter side to the anime. Hitting on a subconscious level this anime is pretty deep when you look at it.
This anime has it all, Fighting, Comedy, Violence, Creepy dolls, Action, Mystery and if you look closely a hint of Romance. This anime has something for everyone. It’s a recipe for success that absolutely works!

In short this anime is amazingly enjoyable and fun to watch, people of all ages would enjoy this fun and quirky anime. With music by FictionJunction, and Characters as great as Alice, really, why wouldn’t you want to give this anime a try?


Pandora Hearts, Despite my recent obsession with the show, offers watches a compelling and if nothing, slightly complex story composition, with a line up of fun and quirky Characters that will have you glued to your screen.
What makes this anime so great? It’s the characters, their interaction with each other is a great watch, they play off each other, fighting or bonding, or both in every episode. Every new episode that is released shows a new side to a character you wouldn’t have seen in the last.
This anime is turning out to be a well-crafted mystery series, every episode continues to keep you guessing, wondering, and thinking ‘Oh what!?’ The questions all-revolving around the adorable main character, Alice.
This anime has it all, Fighting, Comedy, Violence, Creepy dolls, action and if you look closely a hint of Romance, this anime has something for just about everyone! Its a recipe for success that absolutely works!
And with the music done by FictionJunction, who has done anime such as Gumdam Seed and Tsubasa Chronicle, who wouldn’t want to watch this compelling anime?
So, I know, that until this anime finishes, I will be glued to my screen watching this…How about you join me?

Vampire Knight

Story and Characters:
At first Vampire Knight looks like an average shojo anime with a soap opera vibe and other elements that repel guys. But it seems that it goes beyond that and explores a little bit of other things seen in shonen comics, such as betrayal,  loyalty, friendship and trust. Vampire Knight was the first shojo anime I saw and, to be completely honest, I had no idea it was intended as a show for girls.
I found it helpful that the anime slowly sinks you into its universe and takes the time to let you familiarize with the characters. Unlike the manga, the show seems to try and explain everything more detailed and keep most of the confusing parts at bay.
The events unravel themselves at a steady pace and, although it’s sometimes slow, the story doesn’t get boring. There is also a nice dose of mystery inserted at the end of each episode in order to keep the viewer interested. What I enjoyed the most is that the story doesn’t rush to reveal the cheesy love story, but takes a nice detour in order to show off other elements such as the loyalty between two friends or the decent rivalry between others. The story isn’t based on a silly crush where the girl embarrasses herself, but tries to develop the female protagonist into a strong person with responsibilities.
The characters’ important past events are also unraveled a little bit at a time,  so finding out about Yuki’s life as a child may answer a lot of questions about the way she behaves around certain people. But the frequent flashbacks can be dull if you’re only interested in one character and dislike the others.
The anime focuses on the main plot, but also leaves room for a few side-stories.  I personally found them boring, but I suppose they are necessary in order to keep the main story fresh and interesting. Though I enjoyed the first season,  the second one seemed to rush the ending and lost a little bit of its shine. I got the impression that the story got derailed somehow and hurried to the finish line.
Graphics:
The visuals represent a more stylized version of the mangaka’s original art. The characters look a little more real and not as ridiculously skinny as in the Japanese comic, but the overall style is basically the same. I really enjoyed seeing the characters’ deep and dead-looking eyes - it’s a very unique and creative element that had me staring in wonder at first.
What I found interesting was the color pallet that always seems to revolve around the colors red and black. This element sets the mood and it ties up nicely with the overall vampire theme of the anime. The artists have chosen to emphasize what requires attention (e.g roses, a character’s outfit), but still keep the rest of the environment a little colorful so it wouldn’t feel dull.
The male character’s girlish features seem bizarre and I had a hard time getting used to them, but it’s not surprising seeing as this is a shojo anime.
Sound:
The voice acting is decent and captures each characters’ emotions. Yuki’s voice particularly was chosen really well as it fits her strong yet indecisive personality traits. No character voice is out of place, so the result is brilliant.
The music is wonderfully picked for this anime - most of the pieces contain organ, flute and violin sounds which go really well with the overall sad tone of the show. You feel a certain sense of greatness when you hear the main character themes that are brilliantly accompanied by choirs. For example, Kaname’s theme contains a male choir in the beginning that emphasizes the feel of uncertainty and mystery that Yuki may have for this character.
The soundtrack is more than worth the buy even if you dislike the anime, the songs are simply brilliant, incredibly atmospheric and can soften up anyone,  even if only for a few minutes.
Overall:
-Humor-
Though it is meant to be a serious and sad anime, the show does have a few humorous scenes. These mostly revolve around Chairman Kaien’s over-motherly attitude towards Yuki or Zero’s hate of almost anything on campus. The humor is inserted cleverly between less-serious scenes so the process doesn’t seem brutal.
The most memorable humorous scenes that come to mind are the ones present in the first episodes where Yuki and the other school prefects attempt to hold back a sea of overly-hyper girls from the Night Class boys.
-Enjoyability-
Even if the events can seem a bit over the top sometimes, Vampire Knight is an enjoyable anime with an interesting story. It certainly brings a new idea to the table, that being a vampire isn’t really that easy or glamorous. I often try to stay neutral, but this is the only show that made me give in and actually start rooting for a pairing, so some of the characters are easy to get attached to.

Rozen Maiden Review

Rozen Maiden is worth all your attention watching it. You will find this series great! The story centers around Sakurada Jun, a young boy that finds himself indebted to a living doll by the name of Shinku, a doll of the Rozen Maiden series, who was created by a mysterious but extremely talented dollmaker.The series examines the living habits and personality of each doll that is living with Jun and his sister Nori, as well as the sibling rivalry that they commence to name one doll as “Alice” in order to meet the maker(also known as “father”) who created them. Jun’s sometimes comedic, sometimes dramatic experiences with Shinku—as well as the other six dolls of the Rozen Maiden series—slowly bring him out of his depression and back into the world that he had abandoned.
Characters
The “Rozen Maidens” are a collection of dolls created by a craftsman named Rozen, whom the dolls refer to as “Father”. Their primary source of power is a human host (also known as “medium”) who wears a ring to symbolize his bond with the doll, although certain dolls have been shown to act without a medium.
Suigintou - Suigintou is the first of the Rozen Maiden. Her desire to win the Alice Game is the strongest of all the dolls, and is primarily driven by her wish to gain the attention of their “Father”. After meeting Megu, her medium, Suigintou’s attitude and motivations begin to shift; she begins to feel a strong affection for someone other than “Father”, and a will to fight for something other than the honor of becoming “Alice”.
Kanaria -  The second Rozen Maiden. Kanaria’s bright, somewhat arrogant disposition makes her the ideal subject for many of the comedic episodes.
Suiseiseki - The third Rozen Maiden and also Souseisuki older’s twin. She has the ability to communicate and tend to regular plants and also to the “soul trees” of humans.Despite her attitude towards Jun, Suiseiseki does care a great deal for him, and her attempts to cover that up usually manifest in the form of more insults
Souseiseki - The fourth Rozen Maiden, Suiseiseki’s twin.She is devoted to lonesome oldman who uses as the subtitude of her deceased son, kazuki.
Shinku - The fifth Rozen Maiden and also the main character of the series. She enjoys lecturing, slapping and abusing her medium, Jun. Shinku is also perceived as being cold and angry, but she is actually very protective of, and cares deeply. In combat, she fights with rose patel-based attack.
Hinaichigo - The sixth doll, and the very embodiment of childishness. She loses to Shinku in the Alice Game, becoming the first doll to lose the right to become Alice.  Shinku does not take Hinaichigo’s Rosa Mystica. Instead, Shinku lets herself be an inter-medium.
Barasuishou - Barasuishou is a doll created by Enju, Rozen’s apprentice. She introduces herself as the seventh Rozen Maiden doll, though this is a lie. she simply intends to dupe the other six Rozen Maidens into entering the Alice Game so that she may obtain their Rosae Mysticae and become the strongest doll.
Kirakishou - The true seventh Rozen Maiden. She has not been formally introduced in the anime series.
Art is more to gothic and aristocracy style. You couls see dolls wearing long sleeve blouses and shirts, long skirts, corsetry, pants and dresses.
Sound (nothing to describe about)
Overall, this series is incredible! The characters are variety and adorable too. I enjoy watching this and i found this the best series i have watch so far. And i hope your will like it too.

Final Fantasy VII

Final fantasy was not just a story, it was a concept, a philosophy. Final Fantasy 7 Advent children was Written by Kazushige Nojima, it followed 2 years after the events of the original story. It was a great feature film which captured my attention almost the whole duration and has done so several times.
The importance of this review is to break down the collaborations which composed F’F’ and look at each aspect.
Whilst Final Fantasy was an amazing story, Advent Children slightly let me down. The story was very short and in some ways vague. A lot of concepts arn’t explained in AC. Such as Materia, condensed mako energy enabling particular powers. AC doesn’t say anything about materia, what is it? where is it from? whom produces it? and what does it do? We’re just exposed to scenes such as the antagonist force it into his arm causing a monster to appear.. Further more the characters which contribute to the story arn’t explained. Aerith and Zack appear in Clouds dreams and memory, yet the story doesn’t say why or whom they are, it’s very confusing for someone who’s not equipped with FF knowledge to watch which is more than likely because Final Fantasy’s story is derived from games, a different genre completely. However I was satisfied because, i am familiar with the FF story and it revealed a lot about cloud, but it wasn’t enough, the only evidence of cloud’s past which really hit me was:
“Your an ex-SOLDIER arn’t you?”
“Yeah, in my head.”
The story should be projected towards clouds struggle of finding him self, in his own lies rather than what it was.
The story its self wasn’t very interesting, and I found my self wanting the film to project the plot towards Cloud as a character. Although the story didn’t subscribe to my attention as much i had hoped, the art compensated for that numerous times.
Final Fantasy’s art is beautiful and tranquilizing, winning several awards including the 2007 American Anime Award as “best anime feature”. Final Fantasy aesthetically pleases me to no end. The animated glows during the introduction blew me away, the in depth character design and special effects left my jaw open for a considerable amount of time. The camera angles were experimented with new, colourful, innovative shots which would be to difficult for any generic holly wood films. Final Fantasy’s art has no flaws and is a style I want to see more of in modern animated films. The was an aspect which added to the composition of FF, but it unfortunately slightly let me down.
Final Fantasy’s AC’s Soundtrack written by Nobuo Uematsu is amazing, but it wasn’t used to its full potential. It wasn’t used to it’s full potential because the story didn’t offer enough, the sounds tracks which glorify final fantasy and in some way define it, wasn’t given the opportunity to completely express FF’s notorious soundtracks because there wasn’t enough drama. Those sad, nostalgic scenes or deaths which rendered Final Fantasy a very sad epic story. This somewhat let me down but the characters were more of a sad case.
One word, cloud. That amazing hero which we all stereotypically love and envy for his cool hairstyle, ability to use multiple overly large swords and his striking attitude and values. Which was somewhat presented in AC, but i wasn’t just after the sensation of this. Cloud’s true story, of his constant battle to remember who he is, and who he isn’t. Why he doesn’t remembers things he should, and why he does know things he shouldn’t. The fake memories of being in love, being with his friends and being in SOLDIER. The story never went in depth into cloud, which disappointed me A LOT. AC however does show you how Cloud becomes himself towards the end of the movie, which was mediocre in my experience. which contributed to my enjoyment, for the better or worse.
Despite the negative parts; Final Fantasy is a very enjoyable movie. it was more than enough to fit hand in glove for my strict expectations, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves in depth combat scenes never seen before in traditional anime, amazing effects and sound, and of course, a main character who you’ll want to cosplay over and over again.
Overall, Final Fantasy is bitter-sweet. If you’re looking for a an awesome 3d animation, it would be the only one i’d recommend, alternatively if your looking for in depth characters and clouds struggle after his contact with the jenova cells, the movie will offer some information but ultimately, it won’t. Final Fantasy, shows you the meaning of life and entities of how we’re all connected, how our planet gives us much more than we realize and deserve, and how experiences and memories are treasures, a story which has inspired me in many different ways.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 Review

throughout humanity the power of information and wisdom has influenced our values and attitudes. It’s information we’re associated with which causes us to feel a particular way, the wisdom much like the enterprise which carefully controls information. Lelouch controls information to manipulate characters therefore events throughout Code Geass R2. Code geass continued to impress to the very end, and is a very good anime.
Story. 7/10
The Story, to me had much meaning because of it’s relations on a non-fictional level. During the 16th Century Japan became a closed nation, restricting its trade with other nations and western philosophy’s. Japan was a social hierarchy during the time with a class-by-birth system. Soon Japan became outdated by other cultures which were constantly technologically advancing, we also have Britannia, (Britain former name during the colonial stages.) Colonizing practically many parts of the world including Japan, forcing people to live under A Western styled lifestyle much in discomfort for its residence. Not only this but many twists and small hints are incorporated into the story making it very unpredictable and a very deceiving anime. The story was a great success in my eyes. Even if I’m not into futuristic genre.
Art. 7/10
Code Geass’s are was very detailed. The artwork included very detailed yet serious tone to the anime. Most of the scenes looked normal, but the more familiar they were to audience, the more they distanced them selves from the viewer because of its violent and serious experiences. In compilation to the rest, the art work of code Geass was a smooth addition to the series, and I couldn’t I thinks of any cons.
Sound 6/10
The sound in Code Geass was quite nice, however it was a much more serious and dark style of music fitting the theme. It worked well with the series how ever it could use a few dramatic songs.
Character 8/10
The characer Lelouch is what shaped Code Geass for me. Ever since we were introduced to Lelouch we’re presented with a character who’s familiar with the true intent of the world, the murder, slavery, poverty and corruption. A character who’s able to kill for his sake and his dream, Lelouch was such an interesting antagonist, which left me doubting his intentions many times, his ability to manipulate and control people is a skill none other suited to Lelouch’s personality. The character was the most impressive aspect of code Geass and left me enjoying the anime.
Code Geass, may suit a smaller crowed than your larger animes, but in no ways is it worse because of its length or style. I was very pleased with this anime and recommend it to anyone who’s into the Death Note, FMA Genre.
Code Geass’s legacy is an example of; strength through unity, unity through faith, where a dream is only impossible when it’s a doubt.
